A friend of mine graduated recently. When my sister and I spoke with him over the phone to congratulate him the previous night, all he could do was to keep laughing. That kind of laugh that holds so much pain, joy and gratitude all at the same time and it was indeed intriguing.
This was someone who it took years to achieve that part of his journey and so I totally understood the unspeakable joy he felt that day. You see, one thing I keep learning about life is;
1. Times and seasons.
2. Just because it’s not happening now doesn’t mean it won’t happen at all.
3. It’s never too late.
4. When it’s your time, nothing can stop what was meant to happen in your life for real.
5. It may tarry, but it will always come to pass if you persevere and trust your Maker with your life.
One thing I’ve always known is, our life has been predestined and well written out even before we came into existence and even before we will ever live a day here on earth. The Creator is in charge of our lives. Therefore, whatever are His plans towards us always come to pass in accordance with His time. What He say He will do, He will do. His word never return to Him void.
Reason is best to have faith at all times and in all phases of our life, trusting our Maker’s time, will and plan for us.
Ecclesiastes 9:11 simply says; “I returned, and saw under the sun, “that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
I posted a bit late today, I’ve been so busied with a lot, but I hope you all learnt something from this post. It would be great to see and read comments in contribution to this post, just so I could learn from you all too.
Excellent post and the title speaks volumes, Gloria.
